About Us

We operate under the brand name Player One Sport, and our company is incorporated as Girjun 26 Enterprises OPC Pvt. Ltd. Our mission is to create a vibrant community of sports enthusiasts through a single mobile application, making it easy for individuals or groups to sign up for games happening nearby. At present, we are focused on football events in Pune, but we have plans to expand into cricket and scale our platform to other cities soon.

What Will You Do?

This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone eager to experience the fast-paced environment of a startup.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Community Engagement: Supporting operations by booking football turfs, ensuring we have the right number of participants for each game, and helping games run smoothly.
• Record Keeping & Analytics: Maintaining accurate records of games and participants, collecting feedback, and organizing this data for future analysis.
• Business Development: Assisting with outreach to attract new users and partners, and helping us expand our network in Pune and beyond.
• Market Research & TAM Identification:
• Conducting demographic research to help us better understand our target audience in Pune (and later, in other cities).
• Gathering and analyzing data on age, location, sports interests, and participation patterns using surveys, online research, and available databases.
• Segmenting users into meaningful groups to help us personalize our marketing and identify underserved segments.
• Using these insights to help us estimate our Total Addressable Market (TAM)the total number of potential users who could benefit from Player One Sport.
• Your research will directly shape our product roadmap, marketing strategy, and expansion plans.
• General Operations: Pitching in wherever needed as we scale, giving you a broad view of how a startup operates.
• Social media strategy: We will also be strategising and subsequently implementing on social strategy for the brand.

Time Commitment

We ask for a commitment of 4-5 hours per day. Twice a week, well have a 15 to 30 -minute check-in call to align on priorities and progress. Outside of these check-ins, youll have the flexibility to manage your own work and contribute independently.
