The QpiAI-Opt platform delivers scalable optimization solutions across logistics, manufacturing, automotive systems, energy networks, and enterprise operations.
Role Overview
QpiAI is seeking an Operations Research Scientist to develop optimization solutions for real-world industrial and enterprise applications using the QpiAI-Opt platform.
The role involves formulating, developing, validating, and deploying mathematical optimization models to address complex operational decision problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mathematical optimization models for industrial applications, including:
- Routing and fleet optimization
- Production planning and scheduling
- Supply chain optimization
- Resource allocation and planning
- Network optimization
- Translate operational and business requirements into formal optimization formulations.
- Develop and implement models using:
- Linear and Mixed Integer Programming
- Network optimization models
- Multi-objective optimization approaches.
- Configure and evaluate solver strategies to achieve scalable and efficient solutions.
- Develop optimization workflows integrating:
- Data processing pipelines
- Scenario simulation
- Sensitivity and what-if analysis.
- Validate optimization outcomes using operational datasets and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams for the deployment of optimization solutions in production environments.
Required Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Systems Engineering or related fields.
- Strong expertise in problem formulation, Optimization modeling, and solvers.
- Experience using open-source optimization tools.
- Programming experience in Python/Julia/C++/Rust.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on industrial optimization problems.
- Knowledge of logistics, manufacturing, or energy optimization systems.
- Experience deploying optimization solutions in production environments.
