Operations Manager-India

Responsibilities

1.OEM Operations & Project Coordination

Act as the local operations interface of the company in India, responsible for day-to-day coordination with OEM manufacturing partners;

Track execution of OEM assembly, testing, and shipment activities, and support resolution of on-site operational issues;

Support new model introduction, pilot production, issue rectification, and related project milestones.

2. Supply Chain & Delivery Support

Support local operations related to procurement, logistics, warehousing, and material delivery;

Coordinate with HQ supply chain teams to track material arrival, inventory status, and operational exceptions;

Assist with basic operational matters related to customs clearance, duties, and delivery, without independent decision-making responsibility.

3. Compliance & Basic Operational Support

Support implementation of basic local compliance requirements related to OEM manufacturing in India, including factory access and audit coordination;

Assist HQ teams by collecting, organizing, and providing required local operational documentation;

Serve as a communication bridge between China-based and local teams to reduce information gaps and execution deviations.

4. Cross-Cultural Communication & Internal Coordination

Support daily communication and coordination between China-based project teams and Indian OEM partners;

Assist with meeting coordination, minutes preparation, issue tracking, and follow-up;

Take on a flexible, multi-functional support role during the early project phase to facilitate overall project progress.

Requirements

Legally eligible to work in India, or able to obtain and maintain valid long-term work authorization; capable of working with India as the primary operational base and supporting ongoing local project execution;

Bachelors degree or above, preferably in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, operations management, or business administration;

38 years of experience in manufacturing, factory operations, OEM/EMS, or project-based operations;

Proficient in English as a working language (written and spoken) for frequent communication with HQ and local partners; Chinese language skills or long-term collaboration experience with China-based teams is a plus, but not mandatory.

Basic understanding of manufacturing site operations and OEM/EMS models;

Strong execution capability and issue-tracking skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a project environment where objectives are progressively defined;

Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills, able to work efficiently under an HQ-led, cross-regional governance structure.
