Job description

We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience on the operations side, either working with a SEBI registered Custody services provider or with a Portfolio Manager under PMS regulations. The person needs to have an eye for attention to detail and demonstrate diligence in his work. Roles and Responsibilities Contribute to the development, implementation, maintenance, monitoring and review of processes to enable the smooth functioning of the operations pertaining to the PMS. Managing & completing end-to-end formalities for Account Opening procedures for PMS Coordination with custodians/brokers/bankers for empanelment, stock trading, trade settlement, trade reconciliation, confirmation and corporate actions. Administer pay in and pay out of funds and securities in PMS. Reconcile all accounts, currencies and assets position daily. Prepare instructions for day-to-day operations. Preparing and Maintain Summary NAV sheet, reconciliation of Holding Statement. Create and maintain daily operational MIS to track. Ensure that client/distributor complaints/queries are resolved within a timely fashion. Implementation and Compliance of all regulatory requirements including development of systems and processes, filing of reports with SEBI and regulatory audits on a periodic basis. Review of financial statements & liaise with auditors (Internal & Statutory) w.r.t. completion of audits and providing data as per requirement. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and achieve organizational goals. Be up to speed on compliance of PMS regulations and SEBI Compliance. To process all kind of Vendors payment, Custody Payments and handling client invoices for fund fee invoices.

Desired Candidate Profile

Preferably a Bachelor and/or post graduate degree in any discipline with work experience of more than 5 years. Should have a good knowledge of EXCEL and Wealth Spectrum software. Sound knowledge of SEBI guidelines and other statutory requirements under the Companies Act Flexible and fast adaptive nature with a positive approach towards completion of assigned task with an ability to meet aggressive deadlines and work under continual pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to persuade, influence, negotiate and make formal presentations in meetings and training environments. Be a problem solver, willing to take up any task with a genuine interest in learning by doing.
