Job Title : Operations Manager

Job Location : Hyderabad


Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities


Responsible for ensuring that airlines at the airport are provided with in-flight catering services as per laid down procedure and specification at all times.

Responsible to take decisions with regard to daily operational matters such as accept or refuse the re-use of airline returned meals, under guidance of the Unit Head.

Creates flight schedules, monitors crew schedules to ensure assignments for schedules are in accordance with personnel qualifications for type of aircraft, federal safety and operational regulations, and company policy.

Confer with flight crew personnel to resolve any differences regarding schedule assignments.

Coordinate activities of sections in flight operations department, for example dispatching, flight control, flight training and meteorology, to ensure maximum operating efficiency.

Confer with administrative personnel to propose revision and adoption of rules and procedures governing flight operation activities, under guidance of Unit Head.

Direct and coordinate through flight operations and control activities of flight schedules, crew schedules to ensure assignments for schedules are in accordance with personnel qualifications for type of aircraft, federal safety and operational

regulations, and company policy.

Dealing with staff and client issues.

Keeping abreast of trends and developments in the industry such as menus, trends in consumer tastes and management issues.

Ensuring health and safety regulations are strictly observed.

Budgeting and establishing financial targets and forecasts.

Monitoring the quality of the product and service provided.

Ensure compliance of regulatory norms and statutes.

Any work specified by the Management from time to time.


Education and Experience


Holds a Diploma in Hotel Management or B.S degree in food technology, or a business management degree.

Work experience of more than 10 years of experience in the Operations or management position, preferably in food manufacturing or food serving

A masters degree in Management of Business Administration is a benefit

Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
