Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Operations Director to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will lead our operational efforts, driving efficiency, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and optimizing our knowledge and data management processes. This role is crucial in enhancing our consulting services and maintaining our competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze current operational processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows and increase efficiency
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the consulting practice

Technology Enablement:

  • Spearhead the adoption of new technologies to enhance consulting operations
  • Oversee the implementation and roll-out of tech solutions
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems

Knowledge Management:

  • Develop and maintain a robust knowledge management system
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing across teams and departments
  • Implement best practices for capturing, storing, and disseminating valuable insights

Data Management:

  • Establish data governance policies and procedures
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of key performance metrics
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations

Team Leadership:

  • Manage a team of operations professionals
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning

Client Delivery:

  • Ensure operational excellence in client project delivery
  • Develop and implement standardized methodologies and tools
  • Monitor project performance and client satisfaction

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the overall strategy of the consulting practice
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion of services
  • Collaborate with other leadership team members to align operations with business goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in consulting or professional services
  • Proven track record in implementing process improvements and technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of knowledge management principles and data governance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics
