Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Operations Engineer for MES to manage operational activities of core microservices within the MES Foundations Team. The role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting production environments while ensuring system stability and performance.
The candidate should have strong experience in MES operations, monitoring tools, microservices architecture, and Kubernetes environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle MES operations activities for core microservices.
- Proactive monitoring, analysis, and troubleshooting of production issues.
- Manage High Priority Incidents (HPI) and ensure quick resolution.
- Setup monitoring dashboards and alerts using Kibana and Grafana.
- Perform root cause analysis and maintain SLA compliance.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support when required.
- Maintain clear communication with global stakeholders.
Key Skills
- Experience in MES operations and microservices architecture
- Monitoring tools: ELK, Grafana, APM
- APIs, Swagger, Kafka, SAP S/4HANA knowledge
- Kubernetes (On-prem), Docker, Mirantis
- Tools: Github, MSSQL, Rancher
- IT ticketing tools like ServiceNow / SMT
- Atlassian tools: JIRA, Confluence
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills
