Job Description
Project Role Description : Support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement.
Must have skills : IBM AS /400 Administration

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
Must have skills: Should have knowledge on iSeries (OS AS400 administration, Build, Migration, Upgrade, VIOS, Capacity, Performance, VTL, iCluster, Robot, BRMS, DR, HMC, Journal Management, Audit & Security, CL, SQL, Query, ITIL foundation) Good to have skills: Knowledge on AS400(Storage, MQ, WAS, DCM, Snow, Network, PMP) Roles and responsibility: Must have 10 to 13 years of AS/400 system Operations/Administrator experience. User profile and Security Management. Backups and other jobs for problem determination and resolution. Patch, Security, Performance & Capacity, LPAR Management. IBM supported network architecture and configurations - TCP/IP, SNI, SNA etc. Hands-on experience on iCluster, HMC/LPAR Management, MIMIX, Robot, VTL, ATL, CL, SQL, VIOS and H/W Migration, Planning & Execution of DR, Failover, Migration, OS upgrade, VIOS, 3rd party tools. Restoration and BRMS, Tape management. Independently work with vendors on HW/SW issue. Work with multiple teams for major activities. New solution POC and implementation as per requirement. Analyze disk space utilization and recommend corrective action. Participate in Root Cause Analysis RCA. Participate in Disaster recovery process. Team management and Customer facing. Good knowledge on ITIL concepts (Incident, problem & change management skills) Available for on-call scheduling with some evening and weekend work being required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
