Summary: As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. You will ensure the smooth functioning of the systems and provide timely support to resolve any issues that may arise. Your role will involve monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide effective solutions. With your expertise in Unix Architecture and Design, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and reliability of our systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor system performance and ensure the smooth functioning of production systems. - Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely support to resolve them. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide effective solutions. - Ensure compliance with operational requirements and service agreements. - Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance system performance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Unix Architecture and Design. - Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles. - Experience in managing and supporting production systems. - Knowledge of Unix-based operating systems and their administration. - Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell or Perl. - Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Unix Architecture and Design. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A Graduate degree is required.
