Summary: As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. You will ensure the smooth functioning of the systems and provide necessary support to meet the service level agreements. Your typical day will involve monitoring and troubleshooting production systems, coordinating with different teams to resolve issues, and ensuring the timely delivery of services. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure smooth functioning. - Coordinate with different teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of services. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational requirements and service agreements. - Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to optimize system performance. - Document and maintain standard operating procedures for operational tasks. - Provide technical support and guidance to team members. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to operations management. - Assist in the implementation of new systems and services. - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with operational standards and policies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Commvault Backup Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with NAS Architecture and Design, AWS Architecture. - Strong understanding of backup and recovery concepts. - Experience in managing and maintaining backup infrastructure. - Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and implementation. - Familiarity with storage technologies and protocols. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve backup-related issues. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Commvault Backup Administration. - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
