Summary: As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. You will ensure smooth functioning of the systems and provide timely resolution to any issues that may arise. Your role will involve monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth functioning of production systems. - Monitor system performance and identify any issues or bottlenecks. - Troubleshoot technical problems and provide timely resolution. - Implement best practices for system maintenance and optimization. - Document system configurations, processes, and procedures. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Assist in the development and implementation of new systems and services. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration. - Strong understanding of database management principles and best practices. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases. - Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures. - Familiarity with database security and access control. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard. - Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager. - Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A BE degree is required.
