Project Role : Operations Engineer
Project Role Description : Support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement.
Must have skills : Microsoft Windows Server Administration

JD for ODR Engineer L8 RRD Skill ODR Engineer? Level: - 8? Experience: - Above 10 years? Key Responsibilities Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation are necessary. Ability to manage multiple tasks including, project tasks, deadlines, etc. Ability to create and document instructions so that others can follow them. Proficient in technical skills or knowledge in position-related areas; and the ability to keep current with that knowledge and trends in areas of expertise. Work with internal and external customers to configure and troubleshoot. A strong technical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills. Ability to interact with vendors for support and information. Sending daily and weekly status reports to Client and Project Manager. Make pro-active suggestions for service improvements. Troubleshoot and provide timely resolutions to production support issues. Prepare and present client and management dashboards. Motivating team members to upskill / cross skill. Mentoring team members to achieve target timelines and deliverables. Identify automation areas and implement the automations to optimize the team efforts.? Identify process improvement areas and define new processes. Prepare technical solutions and effort estimation for the projects. Understand requirements from client and create design documents. Technical Experience 10+ years of experience in Windows (2012, 2016, 2019 Core and DE) and Linux (RHEL 9, 8, 7, 6) servers tasks including remediation of vulnerabilities, OS Level tasks, patch management and roll back. 3-4 years of experience in.net framework in supported versions (major\minor) and remediating vulnerabilities related to .net framework. 2-3 years of experience Create/Configure and managing WSUS. 2-3 years of exposure in Create/Manage Satellite\Capsule setup. Experience in deploying OS Level patches and Application-level patches for MS Office, .net frameworks, Adobe, Silverlight etc. Understanding of various Windows/Linux services, ports and vendor recommended settings. Understanding of File Systems, mount points and other vendor recommended settings. Experience in Change Management, Request Management and Incident Management using ServiceNow. Good to know Tools (Qualys, Tanium, Chef habitat.,). Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. Educational Qualification: - Certification in Windows server administration \ Linux Red Hat Certified Engineer ITIL certification Must be a degree holder. Professional Attributes Good understanding of procedures, application, and concepts within own subject area Team handling / people management, good communication skills.? Self-driven, target oriented.? High technical aptitude and demonstrated commitment to technical skill development. Focused on service delivery and quality of work. Adaptable to cross skilling Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision. Must be capable to upscale and take initiative to deliver the task independently. Flexible to work in 24/7 shift.
