Summary: As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the systems and services. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Ensure the smooth functioning of production systems and services. - Manage the delivery of services based on operational requirements and service agreement. - Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve any issues or problems. - Monitor the performance of systems and services and take necessary actions to optimize them. - Implement and maintain system configurations and settings. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production systems and services. - Document and maintain accurate records of system configurations and changes. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to production systems and services. - Assist in the development and implementation of new systems and services. - Ensure compliance with security and privacy policies and regulations. - Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address any vulnerabilities or risks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of systems and services. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Unix Architecture and Design. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Sun Solaris Server Management, IBM Quantum, HPUX System Administration. - Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles. - Experience in managing and supporting Unix-based systems. - Knowledge of system administration and troubleshooting techniques. - Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms. - Understanding of networking concepts and protocols. - Ability to analyze and interpret system logs and performance metrics. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Unix Architecture and Design. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
