Operations and Business Analytics Intern

Duration: 3 Months Internship

Stipend: 15,000 20,000 per month

About the Role:

We are looking for a high-energy MBA Post-Graduate Intern with a strong analytical mindset and interest in operations, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making. This role provides hands-on exposure to real business operations, leadership interactions, SOP creation, financial analysis, and dashboard-driven execution. You will work closely with founders and functional heads across Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analytics & Market Research:

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.

Analyze operational and financial data and translate insights into dashboards, reports, and actionable recommendations.

Build interactive dashboards using Excel, Tableau, or Power BI for leadership review.

Track business KPIs and OKRs across functions.

Operations & Process Excellence:

Assist in end-to-end operations oversight , ensuring alignment between production, quality, supply chain, and service teams.

Support creation and implementation of SOPs , operational processes, and system documentation.

Help define roles, responsibilities, and functional documentation .

Participate in daily / weekly / monthly operational reviews and prepare insights.

Financial & P&L Analysis:

Support P&L ownership for operations by tracking costs, margins, and profitability drivers.

Analyze key financial ratios (profitability, liquidity, efficiency) to assess business performance.

Prepare financial trend reports, benchmarking analysis, and variance reports .

Identify operational strengths, weaknesses, and cost-optimization opportunities.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management:

Track warehouse inventory using cycle count processes .

Ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.

Analyze inventory data to improve cycle count efficiency and reduce wastage .

Generate reports from warehouse / inventory management systems.

Production & Quality Support:

Monitor daily production activities , flag bottlenecks, and track output vs targets.

Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.

Support quality audits to ensure compliance with standards.

Maintain documentation of production and quality processes.

Assist in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/process optimization principles .

Sales & Stakeholder Collaboration:

Support inside sales and customer engagement initiatives .

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve operational efficiency.

Assist leadership with market expansion strategy research and execution support .
