Job Description

Location: Hybrid (Remote + Onsite at Kolkata Office)

Duration: Full-Time, 3-Month Contract

Start Date: April 2026

Possibility of extension of contract based on performance & work requirements


About the Role

we are looking for a reliable and organized Assistant who can support us in managing day-to-day operations, coordination, and administrative tasks.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing work, coordinating between people, and supporting business operations in a startup environment. The Assistant will help manage administrative, operational, and coordination tasks.


This is a contract-based role for 3 months (full-time) with the possibility of extension of contract based on performance & work requirements.


Key Responsibilities


1. Administrative Support

  • Organize company documents and maintain digital records
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documents
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendar coordination
  • Assist with email follow-ups and communication


2. Accounting & Finance Coordination

  • Assist in preparing and organizing invoices
  • Upload bills and expenses into accounting software
  • Maintain accounting records
  • Conduct compliance related tasks (TDS, GST, etc.)
  • Coordinate with external accountant when required


3. Operations & Project Coordination

  • Maintain project task lists and basic status tracking
  • Coordinate with employees for status updates
  • Maintain simple internal dashboards for projects and resources


4. HR Support

  • Post job listings on hiring platforms
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates
  • Schedule interviews with candidates
  • Maintain candidate and hiring records


5. Sales/Business Support

  • Support in sales and marketing activities
  • Help maintain internal processes and documentation
  • Support with basic research and operational tasks


Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in business, commerce, management, or related field
  • 13 years experience in admin, operations, coordination, or assistant roles
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable using online tools and spreadsheets
  • Basic understanding of accounting or finance
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently


Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)

  • Prior experience in a startup/IT consulting company
  • Basic understanding of Japanese language


Contract Terms

Type: Full-time, 3-months contract

Work Mode: Hybrid (Remote + Onsite at Kolkata Office)

Compensation: Competitive (based on experience and skill level)
