Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced OpenText xECM Specialist with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in OpenText Content Server and SAP integration to design, implement, and support enterprise content management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in OpenText Extended ECM (xECM), Content Server administration, and integration with SAP systems, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security of ECM platforms.

Job Description

• Utilize deep technical expertise in OpenText Content Server and Extended ECM (xECM) to design, develop, and maintain enterprise content management solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP functional and technical teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical ECM solutions.
• Ensure scalability, performance, availability, and security of OpenText Content Server and xECM environments.
• Configure and integrate OpenText xECM with SAP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and SAP ArchiveLink.
• Provide technical guidance on best practices for OpenText Content Server configuration, SAP integration, and system architecture.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, patch deployments, and environment maintenance.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Content Server, workflows, integrations, and system configurations.
• Stay updated with the latest OpenText ECM and xECM technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Assist in root cause analysis and resolution of production issues and ensure system stability.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and customize OpenText Content Server and xECM components based on business requirements.
• Implement and manage SAP xECM integrations including business workspaces, document management, and ArchiveLink integration.
• Develop and configure workflows, business workspaces, categories, metadata, and document lifecycle management processes.
• Perform installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of OpenText Content Server environments.
• Execute system testing, validation, and performance tuning activities.
• Provide L2/L3 support and resolve technical issues related to OpenText ECM platforms.
• Collaborate with SAP teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and system functionality.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
• Prepare technical documentation including configuration documents, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide technical training and support to end users and junior team members.
• Coordinate with OpenText support and vendors for issue resolution and enhancements.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in ECM workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in OpenText Content Server and Extended ECM (xECM).
• Strong experience in OpenText xECM for SAP integration.
• Experience in SAP integration using ArchiveLink, Business Workspaces, and document management.
• Hands-on experience in OpenText Content Server administration, configuration, and customization.
• Experience in workflows, WebReports, LiveReports, Smart UI, and workspace configuration.
• Experience in system upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning experience.
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and SAP document management processes.
• Knowledge of OTDS, Archive Center, and OpenText ECM architecture.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
