Job Description
Job Title: OpenStack Engineer
Experience: 612 years
Location: Bangalore (Candidates must be based in Bangalore)
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced OpenStack Engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure and automation. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of OpenStack services, hands-on programming experience in Python, and a solid understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage OpenStack-based cloud environments.
- Work extensively with OpenStack services such as Nova (Compute) , Neutron (Networking) , and Cinder (Block Storage) .
- Develop automation scripts and workflows using Ansible .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of OpenStack deployments.
- Implement containerization solutions using Docker and related technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Programming:
- Strong proficiency in Python with 6+ years of hands-on coding experience.
- OpenStack Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of OpenStack services:
- Nova (Compute)
- Neutron (Networking)
- Cinder (Block Storage)
- Automation:
- Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
- Operating System & Networking:
- Strong background in Linux platforms and networking fundamentals.
- Containerization:
- Familiarity with Docker and container technologies.
