Job Title: OpenShift Administrator IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS)

Experience: 510 Years

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days Work from Office)

Location: Pan India

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled OpenShift Administrator to manage and support Red Hat OpenShift clusters hosting IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) in cloud environments. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability of containerized enterprise applications deployed on Azure and AWS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters on Azure/AWS .
• Create, manage, and operate OpenShift clusters using ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS) and ARO (Azure Red Hat OpenShift) .
• Perform routine cluster maintenance including patching, operator management, and configuration updates .
• Assess and recommend infrastructure sizing for optimal cluster performance.
• Create and update Ansible playbooks for IBM Maximo Application Suite installation and upgrades.
• Collaborate with Maximo developers and functional teams to ensure environment readiness and smooth deployments.
• Implement backup and restore strategies for OpenShift clusters, custom resources, and MongoDB .
• Configure and manage monitoring solutions using Instana, Prometheus, and Grafana .
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and container lifecycle management.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform for provisioning and environment automation.
• Troubleshoot OpenShift issues related to pods, services, CRDs, storage classes, and networking .
• Perform certificate management , cluster hardening, and security audits in collaboration with security teams.
• Ensure compliance with ITIL practices , enterprise security standards, and operational best practices.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, operational runbooks , and SOPs.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing .

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 510 years of experience in Linux and Red Hat OpenShift administration .
• Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift installation and configuration on Azure and AWS .
• Proficiency in RHEL, Docker, Kubernetes , and container orchestration concepts.
• Experience with MongoDB databases .
• Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience supporting IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) on cloud platforms is highly preferred.

Preferred Certification

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
