Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AS400 / SQL RPGLE Developer with strong hands-on development experience in RPGLE, SQL RPGLE, DB2, and ILE concepts.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in designing, developing, and supporting applications on the IBM i (AS400) platform.

Candidates with COBOL experience only will not be considered.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have Hands-on Experience):

AS400 / IBM i platform

SQL RPGLE

RPGLE (Free / Fixed Format)

CL / CLLE Programming

DB2 / DB2 for i

Strong File Concepts (Physical, Logical Files)

Embedded SQL

ILE Concepts (Service Programs, Binding Directories, Modules)

Job Handling & Job Queues

Error Handling & Debugging (STRDBG, DSPJOB, job logs)

Required Qualifications:

68 years of relevant experience only in AS400 / SQL RPGLE

Strong hands-on experience in AS400 / IBM i development

Proficiency in SQL RPGLE, RPGLE, CL, and DB2

Good understanding of ILE architecture and concepts

Experience in batch jobs, job queues, and scheduling

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
