Job Description

A solution architect is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive technology solutions that address specific business needs. They serve as a liaison between technical and business aspects to ensure solutions meet organizational goals. With a deep understanding of various technologies, solution architects work closely with stakeholders, developers, and other IT professionals to create a cohesive and efficient system that meets the needs of the business.

Objectives:

· Analysing and understanding business requirements.

· Identifying potential technology solutions.

· Designing and planning the implementation of the chosen solution.

· Collaborating with various teams to ensure successful implementation.

· Evaluating the effectiveness of the solution and making necessary adjustments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Defining and documenting the overall architecture of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.

· Working together with stakeholders, such as business analysts, project managers, and end-users, to understand their needs and gather requirements for the technology solution.

· Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution, considering factors such as cost, performance, and compatibility.

· Providing technical expertise and guidance to development teams, helping them implement the solution effectively and troubleshoot any issues.

· Ensuring that the technology solution meets the necessary performance, scalability, and security standards, addressing any potential risks or vulnerabilities.

· Responsible for identifying potential risks and issues related to the solution and taking appropriate steps to mitigate them, ensuring the project's success.

· Solution architects actively seek opportunities for improvement and contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the technology solution, keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices.

· Having strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams, such as developers, project managers, and business analysts, ensuring a cohesive approach to the project.

Skills Required:

· Minimum 8 years of experience in APS implementation.

· Strong knowledge of various technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

Functional Consultant - Demand Planning

A Functional Consultant plays a crucial role in optimizing business processes. Functional Consultant combines business acumen with technical skills to drive positive change within organizations.

Objectives of the OMP Functional Consultant:

· Strong understanding of business processes in OMP Supply Chain Planning.

  • Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, needs, and pain points.
  • Leverage your technical expertise to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to clients for successful adoption of the implemented solutions.
  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • OMP with strong supply chain planning domain knowledge (Certifications will add value).
  • Good understanding of Master data and Transactional data needed for demand planning.
  • Good understanding in the forecasting cycle.
  • Knowledge on Product life cycle management and the process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize the OMP Planning tool to meet the specific needs of the business.
  • Design, Develop and test functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports to ensure smooth integration between technical and functional.
  • Collaborate with different teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • Ensure all changes and updates are well-documented for future reference.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve the tool and its utilization.
  • Monitor the performance of the OMP tool.

Skills Required

· 2-3 years of experience in handling demand planning and demand management.

· Proficiency in using OMP for demand planning.

· Strong Understanding of DP processes and methodologies.

· Experience with ERP systems and related integration systems.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

· Experience in managing implementation projects and ensuring timely delivery.

· Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.

Functional Consultant – Supply planning

A Functional Consultant plays a crucial role in optimizing business processes. Functional Consultant combines business acumen with technical skills to drive positive change within organizations.

Objectives:

· Strong understanding of business processes in OMP Supply Chain Planning.

  • Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, needs, and pain points.
  • Leverage your technical expertise to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to clients for successful adoption of the implemented solutions.
  • Offer ongoing support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • OMP with strong supply chain planning domain knowledge (Certifications will add value).
  • Good understanding of Master data and Transactional data needed for demand planning.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure they are aligned with demand forecasts.

· Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and stockouts.

· Develop and maintain accurate supply plans based on demand forecast.

· Coordinate with demand planners to understand demand signals and adjust supply plans accordingly.

· Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

· Oversee the order fulfilment process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
