Okta B2B / CIAM

Position Summary :

We are seeking a high-performing Consultant with strong experience in B2B / Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) implementations using Okta solutions.

The role involves delivering enterprise-scale identity transformation programs for clients across industries including BFSI, Healthcare, Technology, and Manufacturing.

The selected candidate will be responsible for hands-on implementation, federation enablement, integration advisory, and supporting client stakeholders in building secure external identity ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities :

Implement and configure B2B identity use cases using Okta Customer Identity Cloud.

Configure SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC-based integrations.

Implement MFA, adaptive authentication, and contextual access policies.

Support tenant-based access models and organization-level access control.

Assist in onboarding enterprise customers with federated SSO.

Enable inbound federation with customer IdPs (Azure AD / ADFS / Ping, etc.).

Configure Just-in-Time (JIT) provisioning.

Support claims mapping and token customization.

Troubleshoot authentication, assertion, and token validation issues.

Support solution architects in defining B2B multi-tenant models.

Participate in identity risk assessments and security reviews.

Assist in developing high-level and low-level design documentation.

Support automation using Okta APIs and scripting.

Assist in CI/CD integration for identity configurations.

Support migration from legacy IAM platforms to Okta.

Support audit activities (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR).

Ensure alignment with Zero Trust principles.

Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge repositories.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

48 years of experience in Identity & Access Management.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Okta.

Strong understanding of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, and JWT token validation.

Experience in B2B / External Identity implementations.

Familiarity with REST APIs.

Basic scripting skills (PowerShell / Python).

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to Auth0.

Okta Certified Professional / Administrator.

Experience with Azure AD / AWS IAM.

Experience in multi-tenant SaaS identity architecture.

Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
