Officer - Processing (NYD Bleaching)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the non-yarn bleaching process including fabric preparation, chemical dosing, machine settings, and quality control.

• Ensure proper scheduling and utilization of bleaching machines (e.g., jet dyeing, winch, jigger, continuous bleaching ranges).

• Monitor chemical consumption, water usage, and energy efficiency during the bleaching process.

• Maintain detailed records of fabric batches, bleaching recipes, machine parameters, and output quality.

• Coordinate with Quality Control and Lab Teams for sample testing and feedback.

• Identify process issues and take corrective actions to avoid defects such as uneven bleaching, fabric damage, or over-processing.

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.

• Train and mentor operators and helpers on best practices in fabric bleaching operations.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction programs within the bleaching department.
