Role Description

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough nutritional assessments for patients, taking into account their medical

history, dietary preferences, and health goals

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to develop individualized dietary

recommendations and meal plans that align with the patients treatment plans.

Generate recipes and meal ideas that meets patient dietary requirements and restrictions,

ensuring they are balanced, nutritious and enjoyable

Stay current with the latest research and developments in nutrition science, incorporating

evidence-based practices into patient care

Educate patients on the importance of proper nutrition and provide clear explanations of

how dietary choices can impact their health conditions.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to ensure coordinated

patient care

Adhere to ethical and professional standard in accordance with relevant regulations and

guidelines

Requirements

Master of Science (MSc) degree in Nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution

Certifications as a registered dietitian nutritionist or equivalent professional credentials

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

In depth knowledge of nutritional principles, dietary guidelines, and therapeutic diets

Proficiency in developing meal plans that cater to various dietary requirements

Proficiency in using nutrition analysis software and tools
