Job Description

Provides clinical education to nursing staff and conducts CNE and departmental classes as per the schedule. Handles customer related complaints with utmost priority and vigilance. Collaborates with customer care team and Nursing incharges in rectifying the customer issues. Maintains the Net Promoter Score (NPS).



About the Role



To track the customer related complaints through Zykkr and Post Discharge calls and close them within 24 hours. To provide educational leadership to patients and care providers to enhance specialized patient care within established clinical protocols.



Responsibilities



  • To plan, organize, delegate, supervise, coordinate and evaluate the activities of the clinical nurse educators/staff nurse in attaining the set goals or targets in the field of training & education.
  • To possess thorough knowledge and understanding of clinical protocol, procedures, and standards within area of nursing expertise.
  • To have the ability to provide operational guidance and leadership to technical staff in area of specialty.
  • To have the ability to assess educational needs and design and develop responsible curricula for the nursing staff.
  • To possess working knowledge of the use of established clinical and preceptorship models in the development of clinical education programs.
  • To have technical leadership skills within area of expertise.
  • To have advanced nursing skills in area of specialty.
  • To assist patients and caregivers with educational needs, problem resolution, and health management across the continuum of care.
  • To collaborate with medical providers, patient care staff, and unit management in the planning, implementation, and delivery of educational curricula.
  • To initiate clinical skills development programs within the parameters of established clinical and preceptorship models; monitors trends and implements educational strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards and parameters.
  • To provide direct specialized nursing services to an assigned group of patients, providing specialized patient care within nursing protocols and assisting in the performance of all related nursing duties.
  • To develop patient care plans, incorporating evidenced-based research and national standards.
  • To serve as a clinical resource for unit management to ensure quality patient care.
  • To educate technical and patient care staff in the use of new equipment, supplies, and instruments; coordinates in-service training and workshops for appropriate staff.
  • To perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications



  • M.Sc nursing, registered under State Nursing Council
  • 2-3 years of experience as a nurse educator

  • To process basic computer skills: Microsoft Office skills to include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint.
  • To be familiar with data entry systems (e.g., electronic medical records/electronic health records).
  • To possess the aptitude & ability to learn new information systems and software programs.
