Nuclear Medicine -RSO

• Liaison with the authority for the removal of medical equipment emitting radiations Medicine Department.
• Develop and to direct quality control programs for equipment and procedures that equipment works properly.
• Responsible for statutory compliances related to AERB or other such regulatory authority.
• Perform periodic safety audit in the department.
• Have an access of hospital software related to work
• Train the concern staff within their scope of services
• Perform any other responsibilities given by higher authorities.
• Liaison with authorities in dose requirement for purchasing of radioactive material
• Manage proper storage of radio Isotopes.
• Maintain the record of TLD readers for radiation exposure
• Perform safety tests periodically as per hospital and AERB guidelines. To liaison wise dose requirement for purchasing of radioactive material.

• Will work in different Shifts of 8.5 hours a day.
• May have to be on call in case of any emergency.
• Prolonged monitoring hours.

·         Should have very good assisting skill.

·         Should have basic knowledge of computers.

·         Should be polite & good in communication while handling patient.

·         Considerable individual initiative, reasoning skill, and sound judgment
