Job Description

Must have skills:

• Node.js (Backend Development)
• JavaScript
• Fastify (or strong experience with Express.js)
• RESTful API Development
• PostgreSQL
• Redis
• Microservices Architecture
• API Gateway (AWS API Gateway / NGINX)
• Linux / VM-based Deployments
• Elastic Logs / ELK Stack
• Production Support & Debugging

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech), MCA, or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Node.js.
• Strong experience in designing and developing scalable RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with caching mechanisms like Redis.
• Hands-on experience in microservices-based architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Fastify framework (preferred) or strong Express.js background.
• Knowledge of API Gateway concepts and implementations.
• Experience with centralized logging using ELK / Elastic Stack.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and VM-based deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Fastify.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for scalable microservices-based systems.
• Work with PostgreSQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement caching strategies using Redis to improve performance.
• Integrate and manage API Gateway for service routing and security.
• Monitor application logs using ELK and perform root cause analysis.
• Deploy and maintain applications on Linux-based virtual machines.
• Provide production support, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
