Job Title: Node.js Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with 6+ years of hands on expertise in building scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should be proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful API development, cloud deployments, microservices, databases, and CI/CD practices.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and the Node.js runtime
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and Promises/async-await
• Hands-on experience with both NoSQL (MongoDB) and SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and API security best practices
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker/containerization

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server side applications using Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or Koa
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs / GraphQL services with frontend applications and third-party systems
• Work with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) for efficient data modelling, queries, and optimization
• Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, Firebase Auth, etc.)
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, and QA teams for smooth development and release cycles
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical documentation
• Deploy and monitor applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
