NodeJS Developer

THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop the O2P platform, including web applications and REST APIs
• Contribute to DevOps practices to build scalable, secure, and cost-effective customer-facing applications on AWS (Lambda, ECS Containers, API Gateway, RDS)
• Evaluate, recommend, and adopt modern technology solutions for platform evolution
• Implement strong quality engineering practices, including unit testing and automation
• Build resilient, maintainable, and extensible solutions considering upstream and downstream system impacts
• Align development with Clients Built with Forge pillars Engineering Excellence, Build & Deploy, Operational Excellence, Recoverability & Reliability
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into technical solutions
• Provide production support for developed applications
• Mentor and collaborate with globally distributed teams across APAC, EMEA, and the US

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong architectural and design skills for building scalable, highly available, resilient, and cost-effective cloud applications (AWS preferred)
• Proven experience selecting the right technology stack and tools based on problem context
• Expertise in building RESTful microservices using Node.js
• Experience with both Relational and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience in API development and UI integration
• Good understanding of API security, authentication, and data encryption
• Strong DevOps and Quality mindset with experience in CI/CD pipelines, observability, and test automation
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Curious and growth-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt and evolve with changing technologies and business needs

Preferred / Good to Have

• Experience with Full Stack development (React / Angular or similar frameworks)
• Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Prior experience working in enterprise-scale SaaS platforms
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools
