Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Node.js Developer at Kwebmaker's Mumbai office.

As a Node JS Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications built on the Node + Express framework. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Day-to-day tasks include building and implementing APIs, ensuring high performance of applications, debugging and fixing issues, and writing clean, scalable, and efficient code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy web applications using the Node + Express framework.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Create and maintain database schemas and models.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Node development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Postgres, MySQL, and Prisma.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React/Next JS).
• Strong understanding of MVC and RESTful API design.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team
