About the role

The person will be responsible for improving the Organic rankings and increasing the top funnel organic traffic for ITV Digital's associated products which eventually will lead to revenue growth.

Work responsibilities

• Create and manage an SEO roadmap to win a share of voice on Google Searchand Google Discover for high intent and high-volume search and drive relevant traffic to the platform.
• Perform periodic technical audits on the website/pages, making short- and long-term technical SEO strategy recommendations in terms of (page load, Mobile friendly UI/UX), page speed, CWV (core web vitals)etc.
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content strategy, link building, and other factors impacting SEO positions for target keywords.
• Conduct competitive analysis and research, staying up to date on the competitive landscape.
• Work in close collaboration with the Product and Analytics teams to tie efforts to quantifiable results like user retention.
• Experience with On-page (Keyword planning, Title, Description, etc.) and Off-page activities news websites
• Collaborate & work with both internal and external stakeholders for creatives, content, dashboards, and product changes.

Skills, experience& expertise

• Should have 10-12 years of experience in planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy
• Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
