Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction for New Product Development quality related issues
Ensure all specifications with respect to quality requirements are met for new product development
Ensure Past Troubles are well captured in new Product/Process Design
Conduct Customer process/product audits - New products
Layout and inspection of parts - NPD
PPAP Approval for Child Part In-house & BO PPAP as per Product MDS
Participate in Obeya & Review of LVPT & HVPT trials w.r.t Quality expectations
Developing and deploying efficient systems and policies to ensure smooth & FTR products handover
KPI:
No. of Improvements/HD done in PFMEA/DFMEA - As per Budgeted numbers (15% weightage)
Key Responsibility Areas and KPIs-
1. Quality Planning & Execution - New Product (Weight: 60%)
Responsibilities:
Implement actions for New Product Development quality related issues raised by customer
Ensure all specifications with respect to quality requirements are met for new product development
Ensure Past Troubles are well captured in new Product/Process Design
Conduct Customer process/product audits - New products
Verify Layout and inspection of parts - NPD
Conduct Product PPAP, Child Part In-house & BO PPAP
Participate in LVPT & HVPT trials w.r.t Quality expectations
KPIs:
No. of Past Troubles captured & incorporated (Regular & Development) - Target: No repeat of Past Troubles in new products
NC in Customer Audits - New products - As per customer criteria (25% weightage)
Status of observations of QAV, Trials/LVPT - No Open Observation at the time of Handover (20% weightage)
2. New Product Quality Control Management (Weight: 40%)
Responsibilities:
New products quality concerns analysis
Conduct Special Process Audits within IPC Period
Conduct Process Capability for Critical/Customer defined parameters
Implement actions for closure of IPC Observations
Implementing actions for closure of CQPR for Development parts
Verify the effects of Deviation on New Products/Parts
KPIs:
No. of IPC observation Closed - No Open Observation at the time of Handover (20% weightage)
QPR - In-house/B.O.P - New Products - No Open QPR at the time of Handover (20% weightage)
