New Product Development & Programming: Multi-Axes CNC

ROLE: We are looking for a Multi-axis CNC/CAM Programming specialist to write,develop and optimize CNC programs on SLIDING HEAD precision machines using CAM software.Tolerances <10 Microns

Role Description

We are seeking a highly experienced New Product Development (NPD) CAM Programmer with a strong background in multi-axis precision machining and advanced CAM programming. The ideal candidate will have at least 12+ years of experience in programming complex precision components across multiple industries and must be capable of handling challenging geometries, micron-level tolerances, and multi-axis strategies.

Key Result Areas

• Responsible for New Product development & Process planning for Precision Components for Medical Devices,Aerospace, engine, Defense etc.
• Lead CAM programming, Create and validate complex tool path for:for new product introductions from concept to production.
• Develop machining strategies for complex components involving Multi-axis machining centers and multi-axis turn-mill platforms.
• In-house Trial and Prove out and Cycle time calculation. Optimize the program and cycle time calculation.
• Tools-Fixtures Planning and Follow up for all the operations for new products or any improvements projects
• Optimize cycle times while maintaining tight tolerances ( 5 microns where applicable).

Incumbent profile:

• Proficient in multi-axis machining strategies, toolpath generation, and real-time machine simulation to ensure precision and defect-free operations.
• Experience in programming and machining complex components on Star/Tsugami/Citizen/Tornos/Mazak Multi-axes machines.
• Knowledge of optimized machining processes.
