Hiring: NPD & Design Lead Oil Seals & Gaskets

• Automotive Aftermarket / OEM Sealing
• 1015 years (hands-on design)
• Strong experience in design from scratch or deep modifications
• Exposure to automotive aftermarket or OEM sealing products
• Proficiency in NX / CATIA / AutoCAD
• Comfortable working with tool rooms and compounders

Silver Muller Seals LLP (60+ years, 20,000+ SKUs) is strengthening its core design leadership .

We are looking for a design-first NPD lead who can own oil seal & gasket design end-to-end and convert drawings into stable, repeatable production .

This is not a coordination, QA, or operations role. This role is for engineers who design, decide, and sign off .

Key Responsibilities

• Oil seal & gasket design from concept drawing release
• Lip geometry, interference, spring load (oil seals)
• Gasket thickness, compression & bead logic
• Material selection: NBR, FKM, ACM, EPDM, HNBR, Etc
• Reverse-engineering OEM samples into production-ready designs
• Tooling interface: parting lines, shrinkage, critical lip-area finishes
• Root cause analysis for leakage, seepage, wear & compression set
