Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai for a New Product Development Manager (Foods Only). The role involves leading projects related to the development of innovative food products, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands. Responsibilities include conducting research and development, managing food technology processes, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and overseeing every stage of product development. The manager will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to bring new concepts to life.

Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Research and Development (R&D) within the food industry for developing innovative products.
  • Advanced knowledge of Food Technology and Food Science, with a thorough understanding of raw ingredients, formulations, and food safety regulations.
  • Proven skills in Project Management to plan, execute, and deliver food product development initiatives effectively.
  • Experience in or strong understanding of the Food Industry, including market trends, customer preferences, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills to lead cross-functional projects and ensure seamless execution.
  • Relevant educational qualifications in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field; advanced degrees are an advantage.
  • Experience in creating and launching food products, particularly in premium or innovative culinary categories.
