The Service Line
_x000d_ Assurance is the largest Service Line (SL) in EY, accounting for approximately a third of the firm’s annual revenue in FY24. It comprises the five primary sub-service lines of Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory 
_x000d_ Services (FAAS), Forensics and Integrity Services (FIS), Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS)and Technology Risk (TR). Within EY Global Delivery Services (GDS), which services clients across 50+ 
_x000d_ countries, Assurance is a fast-growing practice, with an ambitious long-term strategy for growth.

The Role
_x000d_ The Process and Technology Lead is a newly created role that will report into the GDS Assurance 
_x000d_ Transformation Leader, and will be primarily responsible for:

• Working with stakeholders across the Assurance SL – and other teams in EY – in understanding the business landscape and identifying areas for bringing in transformational change
• Driving process improvements – both transformational and tactical – across the lifecycle of the 
• Assurance business, including in core service delivery and in supporting functions
• Conceptualizing and charting out process maps that achieve a balance between being detailed and user/viewer-friendly
• Aligning processes with the relevant System of Quality Management (SQM) controls
• Identifying systems and tools that will help in bridging the gap between as-is and to-be processes
• Making decisions on build vs. buy vs. leverage with respect to the aforementioned systems and tools
• Identifying, tracking and reporting KPIs and metrics for measuring the value/benefit of the implementedprocess changes
• Benchmarking the metrics against the relevant internal and external standards

Skills and Experience Sought

• A high level of curiosity with a penchant for questioning the status quo
• Holder of a Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification
• High level of proficiency in visualization tools like MS Visio or equivalent
• Good understanding of technology, especially business applications, RPA/automation tools and GenAI, preferably with implementation experience
• Overall 12+ years of experience, of which at least 8 years with global professional services firms
• Strong understanding of EY and/or a global delivery ecosystem
• Prior Assurance delivery experience is highly desirable, but not mandatory
• Proven expertise in implementing measurable process improvements
• Proven track record of delivering to the highest levels of quality
• Ability and experience in driving cross-functional and cross-geographical process initiatives
• Strong written and oral communication skills
