Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to resolve, maintain and manage client’s software/ hardware/ network based on the service requests raised from the end-user as per the defined SLA’s ensuring client satisfaction

• 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or support.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and other networking protocols.
• Experience with enterprise-grade firewalls and IDS/IPS systems.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, NetFlow).
• Familiarity with behavior-based network analysis and anomaly detection.
• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Network+, etc.) preferred.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage network devices (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
• Perform network flow analysis and behavior-based traffic inspection to detect anomalies and optimize performance.
• Implement and maintain network security policies and access controls.
• Assist in network design and capacity planning for scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with L1 support and escalate issues as needed.
• Document network configurations, changes, and incident resolutions.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network incidents and outages.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for long-term fixes.
• Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and security threats.
