Network Security Engineer

Job Overview

The purpose of this role is to cover primarily the tasks focused on network operations, which include managing and supporting the daily tasks related to Network, such as Firewall, Sdwan, WAF, ADC, Switches maintenance.

The role will require managing a network devices, monitor the network and support L2-L3 incidents and tickets, for customers abroad .

The role will also include performing improvements and applying standard best practices to network devices configuration.

Key Responsibilities

• Offering technical support to customers for systems and configurations
• Designing and implementing network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
• Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, Load Balancers, switches, WAF, firewalls, DNS and DHCP, Cloud network, VPCs, Transit GWs
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
• Provide Proof Of Concept (Demo) for assigned products or solutions
• Implementation of the products/Solutions in customer site
• Documenting cases to reflect the actions taken, reporting of problem status and providing solution(s) or workarounds as developed in a professional timely fashion, over the lifetime of the support request.
• Understand customer systems and configurations, analyze the more technically difficult problems, identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Works closely with customers and other engineers as well as the Account teams.
• Setting customer expectations appropriately and accurately.
• Work closely with principle company engineers to develop workarounds to issues and suggest product changes to accommodate customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree/Diploma in an IT related field or equivalent hands-on experience
• 5 plus years experience in the role of network/ network security engineer
