Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced L3 Network Security & Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise network architecture, advanced troubleshooting, and security implementations across routing, switching, wireless, and network security platforms.

This role requires hands-on experience with Cisco-based network infrastructure and security solutions, along with the ability to lead complex deployments, support escalations, and guide L2 teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Architecture & Operations

Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure

including Routing & Switching environments.

Manage and troubleshoot advanced L3 network incidents and escalations.

Lead architecture and optimization initiatives for high-availability network

environments.

Wireless & SDA

Implement and support Cisco Wireless LAN infrastructure including

controllers, access points, and mobility services.

Design and manage Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA) environments.

Ensure seamless integration between wired and wireless enterprise

networks.

Network Security

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Firewall solutions.

Implement and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control, authentication, and policy management.

Manage Cisco Stealth watch (Secure Network Analytics) for network visibility, threat detection, and anomaly monitoring.

Incident Management & Escalations

Act as L3 escalation point for complex network and security issues.

Lead troubleshooting efforts during critical incidents and outages.

Provide root cause analysis and preventive recommendations.

Leadership & Collaboration

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to L1/L2 network teams.

Collaborate with architecture, security, and infrastructure teams to enhance network resilience.

Participate in design reviews, change management, and capacity planning.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong expertise in Routing & Switching (R&S) protocols and enterprise network environments.

Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless infrastructure.

Experience with Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA).

Expertise in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).

Experience with Firewall technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent).

Hands-on experience with Cisco Stealth watch / Secure Network Analytics.

Strong troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise network environments.

Experience handling L3 escalations and critical incidents.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as CCNP / CCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure or Security) preferred.

Experience working in large enterprise or managed services environments.

Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and problem- solving skills.
