Summary: A dedicated Network Engineer that will work alongside and support the Edwards Jones Branch Network Team. The ideal Network Engineer includes a strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware. They will implement, administer, operate, and troubleshoot network devices with a focus on SD-WAN, cellular networks, and skillsets in Velocloud & VMWare policy and configuration. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage functional networks (LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, etc.) Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices Manage and ensure the efficiency of security solutions as they intersect with the Edward Jones network such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and document network connectivity and performance issues Support application development teams throughout project and product lifecycles Liaise with vendors, other IT personnel, and contract teams as they relate to service requests and issue resolution Skills: Proven experience as a Network Engineer o 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer for Level 1 o 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer for Level 2 Hands-on experience with SD-WAN hardware and networking Hands-on experience with Velocloud, Cradleopint, and other cellular and wide area network technologies Understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS) Profession Certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP, etc.) Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure solutions Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Agile Methodology experience Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Network Infrastructures. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
