Network Infrastructure Manager

We are looking for a Network Infrastructure Manager to oversee our clients network operations ensuring setup, maintenance, reliability, and performance optimization to support high-speed trading activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the firms network infrastructure to deliver high availability, low latency, and strong security .
• Collaborate with trading, systems, and development teams to meet the stringent demands of algorithmic trading and maintain seamless exchange connectivity .
• Design and deploy network infrastructure in colocation environments for low-latency exchange connections.
• Architect and maintain inter- and intradata center network infrastructure.
• Develop scalable and resilient network architectures to support business growth.
• Optimize network performance across LAN, WAN, and data center environments.
• Oversee daily network operations to ensure 24/7 availability and minimal downtime.
• Manage network hardware, including switches, routers, and firewalls , across multiple data centers.
• Lead incident response for network issues, performing root-cause analysis and implementing preventive solutions.
• Build and maintain real-time monitoring and performance analysis tools .
• Fine-tune configurations to minimize packet loss, latency, and jitter , and maximize throughput.
• Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and reliability .
• Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems .
• Partner with compliance teams to maintain regulatory adherence .
• Implement best practices to secure sensitive trading data and infrastructure .
• Work closely with trading, development, and systems teams to align network design with trading strategies .
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, configurations, and incident resolutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or related field.
• Certifications such as CCNP , CCIE , or equivalent.
• Experience with colocation data centers and exchange connectivity .
• Proven background in low-latency network infrastructure , ideally within the financial industry .
• Deep understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, Multicast).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, and Juniper network equipment.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios ).
• Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid architectures (AWS, Azure).
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Python scripting .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring a network operations team.
