Job Overview

Throne Solutions is seeking an experienced and proactive Network Engineer for an on-site, contract-based role in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in enterprise network configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and support. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and hardware failures.
• Monitor network infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and security.
• Perform VLAN configurations, routing updates, and network optimization tasks.
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and new equipment deployments.
• Collaborate with remote and global teams for escalations and advanced troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and service records.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, best practices, and organizational standards.
• Provide on-site support for network-related incidents and scheduled maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 24 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, STP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking hardware (Cisco, HP, Juniper, or equivalent).
• Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience in firewall management and network security configurations.
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Must be available to work on-site in New Delhi .

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA , or equivalent.
• Experience with SD-WAN, VPN configurations , and cloud networking (AWS/Azure) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.).
