Job Title: Network Engineer - Team Lead
Location: Sector 98, Noida
Shift timings: Rotational Shift (24x5)
Nature of Job: On-site
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Team Lead with strong infrastructure and networking expertise to lead the IT support and operations team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily IT operations, manage escalations (L2/L3), ensure high system availability, and drive continuous improvements across network, systems, and security environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor L1/L2 support engineers
- Manage shift schedules and resource allocation
- Handle escalations and major incident coordination
- Conduct performance reviews and skill development plans
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Network Management & Troubleshooting
- Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and ensure uptime
- Manage VLANs, VPNs, NAT, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP-related issues
- Oversee firewall rule management and security policies
- Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Oversee Windows and Linux servers
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Ensure backup and disaster recovery processes
- Support cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP if applicable)
- Maintain high availability and redundancy systems
- Incident & Problem Management
- Handle P1/P2 major incidents
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Implement permanent fixes and preventive measures
- Ensure SLA compliance
- Security & Compliance
- Enforce IT security policies
- Monitor vulnerabilities and patch management
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain network diagrams and technical documentation
Required Technical Skills:
Networking:
- Must have knowledge of Fortinet, Sophos Firewall, Network switch Cisco Meraki, Ruckus
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Model
- Routing & Switching concepts
- Understanding of MPLS, VLAN, VPNs
- Firewall configuration and troubleshooting
- VPN, Load Balancers, DNS, DHCP
- Network monitoring tools
- Packet analysis (Wireshark, tcpdump)
Systems:
Windows Server & Linux administration
Active Directory & Group Policy, Intune, Microsoft 365, Entra ID Azure AD
Virtualization technologies
Tools:
Monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, etc.)
Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshdesk etc.)
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
610 years of IT experience
2+ years in a leadership or senior technical role
Certifications preferred (CCNA/CCNP, ITIL, Microsoft, etc.)
