Job Description

Role: Network Security Engineer
Required Technical Skill Set: Checkpoint, firewall, network security, Palo Alto Firewall, Fortinet Firewall, IPS
Desired Experience Range: 3-10 years
Location: Chennai

Must-Have
Palo Alto, Fortigate technologies, L2 level switching, routing. Certified in any of one in Palo alto/ Fortigate/Checkpoint firewall technologies.

Good-to-Have
Cisco Firewall, Log analyzer tools (Algosec, Fortianalyzer), IPS, Strong knowledge of IPSec VPNs Application/URL Filtering, Information security, ITIL foundation

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1 Configure / Implement Firewalls as per the Security / hardening Guidelines/as per Project requirement
2 Implement ODC setups with connectivity varying from MPLS Connectivity, Client to site VPN, Site to Site VPN (Firewall based)
3 Implementation and configuration of Security devices which consists of Firewalls from different manufacturers (Eg. Palo Alto, Check Point) along with available features,
4 Administration and Management of Wipro LAN & WAN (Security Domain). Project Implementation Team based on the Project assigned.
5 Result Orientation to close the design
6 Prepare new architecture and documentation to be used by other L3 or L2 team members
7 Excellent Communication and Articulation Skills
