Job Description Network Engineer

Location: Kolkata/ Gandhinagar

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience Education Level: B.E. (Electronics & Communication or IT) / Diploma Electronics & Communication / BCA with 3-4 Years experience in Networking or Telecom.

Certification : Preferred to be CCNA certified / CCNA Trained Experience: Networking knowledge / Telecom knowledge is preferred.

Skills Required: Good Communication and interpersonal skills Experience in last mile access network and network elements routers Good understanding of telecom processes Basic understanding of telecom technologies such FTTB FTTN VDSL Copper GPON etc. Exposure of working on Provisioning configuration of Telecom services Readiness to work in shifts (Mostly for Night Shift) Experience in the design, configuration and telecom systems, hardware and software applications. Understanding of switching systems, cabling and fiber optics. Knowledge of network topology Nokia/Juniper/Cisco Platforms 78xx, 65xx, firewalls, routers, switches would be added advantage LAN, WAN, WLAN infrastructures Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP, NTP, SNMP, VoIP ATM, MPLS, Frame Relay, and Metro Ethernet
