List of Activities for Network Outsourced Personal

1) Create new VLANs for segmentation

2) Modify existing VLANs (rename, reassign ports)

3) Delete unused VLANs

4) Configure VLAN trunking between switches

5) Initial setup (hostname, management IP, domain name)

6) Configure access and trunk ports

7) Apply port security (MAC filtering, sticky MACs)

8) Enable/disable interfaces

9) Configure EtherChannel (port aggregation)

10) Backup and restore switch/router configurations

11) Monitor logs and syslog servers

12) Perform firmware/IOS upgrades

13) Test connectivity (ping, traceroute)

14) Troubleshoot Layer 2/Layer 3 issues

15) Coordinating with Cisco for any Device Issue

16) Maintain network diagrams and configuration records

17) Document VLAN assignments and IP addressing

18) Track changes with change management processes

19) Ensure compliance with organizational security policies

20) Monitoring of ILL, WAN and other critical links, and initiate tickets upon fault detection.

21) Review VPN tunnel status (IPSec/SSL VPN) on Firewall

22) Track allowed and denied traffic on firewall

23) Create, modify, or delete SSIDs (wireless network names)

24) Configure SSID security (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, PSK)

25) Map SSIDs to VLANs

26) Register new APs to the controller

27) Assign APs to specific groups or locations

28) Configure AP modes (local, flex-connect, monitor, rogue detection)

29) Monitor AP status (up/down, client load)

30) Map SSIDs to VLAN interfaces

31) Configure AAA integration (RADIUS/TACACS+)

32) Apply ACLs for wireless traffic control

33) Enable rogue AP detection and mitigation

34) Backup and restore WLC configuration

35) Perform firmware/software upgrades

36) Verify HA/Redundancy status if applicable

37) Verify APs are online and serving clients

38) Check SSID availability and authentication success rates

39) Allow and Deny the devices using MAC address on Forescout

40) Verify device discovery is up to date on Forescout
