Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 network support for LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center networks
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues escalated from L1 teams
- Configure, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers
- Perform network performance analysis , capacity planning, and optimization
- Support routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)
- Manage and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, and network security policies
- Monitor network health using NMS tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.)
- Implement network changes , upgrades, and patches following change management processes
- Assist in incident, problem, and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Maintain network documentation , diagrams, and SOPs
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
- Provide guidance and mentoring to L1 network support staff
