Network Engineer

SDDC Job Description 

Job role, 

• Candidate will be expected to evaluate the traditional DC implementation. 

• Candidate will need to collate and document customer requirements for DC network solution. 

• Candidate will need to work on High Level Design for SDDC (Arista and its integration with Juniper Apstra) solution including Bill Of Materials, topologies, High Availability, features, etc 

• Candidate will need to work on Low Level Design for SDDC (Arista and its integration with Juniper Apstra) solution including templates, policies, integrations, multi-pod environment, multi-site environment, etc. 

• Candidate will create integration and Migration approach for DC.` 

• Candidate will need to execute solution deployment, fault troubleshooting, etc 

• Candidate will be expected to support operations team for Root Cause Analysis, P1 troubleshooting, etc. 

Required skills & knowledge, 

• Good knowledge and experience on Arista solution and Juniper Apstra Solution  

• Good knowledge and concepts on VXLAN, LACP, Port-groups, port-teaming   etc. 

• Good knowledge and experience in DC technologies including Load Balancers, Cloud connectivity, micro-segmentation, network perimeter security, etc. 

• Good knowledge on routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS etc. 

• Exposure to Automation and Analytics. 

• Exposure to network management tools & platforms. 

• Good Experience on Migration process like network discovery of old environment such as l2 & L3 Flow, Application discovery, Application flow etc and execution in new environment.
