MYP/ DP English Facilitator

Essential Qualifications

• Masters degree in English / Literature / Linguistics / Education (Bachelors may be considered with strong IB experience)
• IB training and experience in:
• MYP Language & Literature and/or
• DP English A (Language & Literature / Literature)
• Minimum 23 years of IB teaching experience (MYP/DP preferred)
• Experience in unit planning using IB frameworks:
• MYP: Inquiry-based units, global contexts, ATL skills
• DP: Assessment criteria, Paper 1 & 2, IO, HL Essay (if applicable)

Professional Skills

• Strong understanding of IB assessment and moderation
• Ability to design concept-driven, inquiry-based lessons
• Experience with formative and summative assessments
• Familiarity with ManageBac / IBIS / Atlas or similar IB platforms
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills

Desirable / Added Advantage

• IB workshop certification (Category 1 / 2 / 3)
• Experience teaching both MYP and DP
• Experience with TOK integration (especially for DP)
• Exposure to IA / internal assessments moderation
• Willingness to contribute to curriculum development and school initiatives
