Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API-led connectivity, integration patterns, cloud deployments, and API security best practices , delivering secure, scalable, and reusable integration solutions across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement API-led architectures (System, Process, Experience APIs) using Mule 4 and RAML.
- Develop, test, and deploy integrations on the Anypoint Platform (Design Center, Exchange, API Manager, Runtime Manager, CloudHub).
- Build robust REST/SOAP APIs and perform complex transformations using DataWeave .
- Apply API security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, client ID enforcement, TLS, and MuleSoft policies.
- Integrate MuleSoft with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, databases, messaging queues, and cloud services (AWS/Azure) .
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Git and follow DevOps best practices.
- Perform MUnit testing , monitoring, logging, and performance optimization using Anypoint Monitoring/Splunk/CloudWatch.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
- Ensure API governance, versioning, documentation (HLD/LLD), and adherence to integration best practices.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 58+ years of IT experience with strong hands-on MuleSoft (Mule 4) expertise.
- Solid experience with Anypoint Platform components and API lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in RAML, DataWeave 2.0, REST/SOAP , and integration design patterns.
- Strong understanding of API security (OAuth2, JWT, MuleSoft policies, TLS).
- Experience with CloudHub deployments and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
- Experience with connectors: HTTP, DB, JMS, Salesforce, SFTP, MQ, etc.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
Good to Have
- Experience with Salesforce/SAP/Workday integrations.
- Knowledge of Kafka/RabbitMQ/Anypoint MQ .
- Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes and API Gateways.
- MuleSoft certifications (MCD Level 1/2).
Education
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
