Job Description

Position: MSME Training Consultant (Workshop Facilitation & Handholding Support)

Location: Chhattisgarh (Multiple Districts)

Engagement Type: Consultant / Short-term / Project-based

About the Assignment

We are seeking MSME Training Consultants to organize, facilitate, and provide handholding support for MSME training workshops across Chhattisgarh. The role involves supporting entrepreneurs and MSMEs through structured trainings and post-training handholding on government schemes and market-linkage platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct MSME training workshops at district and block levels
• Provide end-to-end handholding support to MSMEs before and after trainings
• Deliver training sessions on topics including:
• GeM (Government e-Marketplace) registration and onboarding
• GeM bidding, order processing, and compliance
• Reverse BuyerSeller Meets (RBSM) preparation, participation, and follow-up
• Government schemes and support programs for MSMEs
• Market access, digital platforms, and basic statutory compliance
• Assist MSMEs with registrations, documentation, and online processes
• Coordinate with local stakeholders, industry associations, and implementing agencies
• Prepare and submit training and handholding reports as per project requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Management, Commerce, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in MSME development, entrepreneurship training, or government-led programs
• Practical experience in GeM training and MSME handholding is highly desirable

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of the MSME ecosystem and government schemes
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills (Hindi required; local language preferred)
• Ability to deliver practical, hands-on training
• Willingness to travel extensively across Chhattisgarh

As per project norms and consultant experience
